While the color match process for interior design or graphic work has been simplified by Pantone, many have tried another use for the seemingly never-ending array of colors in the Pantone spectrum; cosmetics.
The cosmetic industry earns billions of dollars in revenue every year. Apparently, the lure was too much for the folks at Pantone, so the company is set to launch their own line of cosmetics. Joining forces with retail giant Sephora, Pantone has released a line of products ranging in price from $7.00 to $28.00.
